TT is not listed in the United States Trade Representative’s 2019 Special 301 Report nor the 2018 Notorious Markets List (NML). TT is a member of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and a signatory to the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS). The Intellectual Property Office of Trinidad and Tobago performs registration of various forms of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, industrial designs and copyrighted materials among others.
