Overview

U.S. companies have opportunities to offer travel services to Swiss travelers, who are frequent visitors to the United States and have strong purchasing power.  In 2016, U.S. companies offered $1.9 billion in travel services to Swiss travelers, while U.S. travelers spent $1.2 billion for trips to Switzerland.1   In 2017, about 500,000 Swiss travelers visited the United States, spending in average of 18 days in the United States. 2   Most of these travel services are linked to business related activities.
