Foreign investors are represented in the market either through their own branch offices or through authorized agents or distributors. Distributors provide technical support to end users and usually have contractual arrangements with their principals. An agent of a foreign firm must be a Lesotho citizen per the Trading Enterprises Regulations of the Trading Enterprises Order No 40 of 1993.
