International airlines serving the Republic of Congo are Air France, Air Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopian Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, RwandAir, South African Airways, ASKY Airlines, and Kenyan Airways. There are no direct flights to the United States. Direct flights to Paris are available four times per week from Brazzaville (capital city) and six times per week from Pointe-Noire (economic city). There are direct flights to some capitals in Central and West Africa, as well as to Addis Ababa, Casablanca, and Johannesburg.
Brazzaville’s Maya-Maya International Airport is ten minutes from the city center. The Republic of Congo has a poor road network, but airports can be found in major cities – e.g., Pointe-Noire, Dolisie, Ouesso, etc. Various airlines provide domestic flights including Trans Air Congo.
Rail service between Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville ceased in January 2017.
Taxis are available in Brazzaville, Pointe-Noire, and Dolisie. Car rental is available but expensive. The major hotels offer bus service to and from the airports for international flights.
