Overview

The Republic of Congo’s standards of trade duplicate French standards, which are sometimes not well adapted to the local market. The Republic of Congo has no central standards or regulatory agency.
 

Standards

The Republic of Congo follows CEMAC general standards. As a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO), it is required to adhere to the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT).
 

Testing, inspection and certification

There are no particular testing, inspection and certification requirements. Each company should research testing, inspection and certification requirements.
