Imported food products' labels must have the manufacturer's name, contents, weight, and "best before" data.  Armenia has recently adopted language requirements for imports of some (mainly food) products.  The complete list may be obtained from National Institute of Standards and Quality, SARM (http://www.sarm.am/en).  Companies wishing to obtain bar codes for their products should apply to SARM.  Armenia is a member of the ISO and aims to harmonize its systems of standards in compliance with ISO requirements within the next few years.
