Looking for more opportunities to find foreign buyers or partners? As part of your export planning, consider joining a U.S. Department of Commerce trade mission. U.S. businesses are organized to travel to foreign countries, and are led by industry experts or senior officials. In these markets, mission participants meet one-on-one with pre-screened international business people identified by our in-country commercial staff at U.S. embassies and consulates abroad. Trade missions can save companies valuable time and resources by maximizing their contact with prospective distributors, sales representatives, or partners. Face-to-face meetings, especially when facilitated by senior U.S. government officials, can make a good impression with foreign buyers.
