Mali has trade agreements with all countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) and with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). The United States and WAEMU (of which Mali is a member) have a Trade & Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA). Mali signed the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement in March 2018.
